Kansas City Golf Tournament & Travel magazine is a staple in the Kansas City golf community. I had the opportunity to do a complete redesigned in 2010, and continue to layout each quarterly issue since. My work on the magazine received the 2015 Graphex Award for Best Design of a local publication.

The Royals and Pepsi

Royals and Pepsi

With an opportunity for promotional co-branding for the Royals and Pepsi, I capitalized on Pepsi’s then newly refreshed, and more flexible, visual identity. The commingled logo was never approved, but many pieces were created as part of this promotion including mobile outdoor, can art, bottle tags, and print and digital ads.

In a partnership with Thomas Gibson Studio, we created this three poster series for restaurant Lucky Brew Grill. Post production included heavy image compositing and digital painting to achieve this unique style. The campaign was awarded a 2009 silver Addy.

Royals All-Star Game voting campaign

With the 2009 All-Star game be held in St. Louis, the Royals wanted to have a strong showing of support. We developed a concept that capitalized on the  I-70 rivalry and challenged fans to “turn St. Lou Royal Blue:. I developed the concept, the art, and all the supporting materials including a “passport” and signage for booths around the stadium, an exclusive t-shirt, and limited edition baseball cards.
